Views of a temple
This temple is different from the ones we have seen on the peninsula (they are much the same as each other) in that there was quite a bit of stone used in its environs. It also had symbols of the old religions (Shamanism and Animism) incorporated in it. For example the grandfather figure and a large cairn/keystone. In other temples we have been to there are small cairns usually at the back of the main hall or beside the path up to the the temple.
A very interesting collection of items placed on a wall in the temple compound. They range from very old Shamanist figures and a stone "egg" to plastic figures of the child Buddha.
